Group Clash at Navratri Mandal in Malad West
A violent clash erupted at a Navratri mandal in Malad West on Friday evening, involving members of two communities.
The incident took place around 5:30 pm when a group visited the mandal, delivered a speech, and shouted slogans that reportedly offended local residents, leading to a heated argument and scuffle between the two groups.
The Malwani police quickly arrived at the scene and brought both groups to the police station. FIRs were filed against members from both sides, with two to three individuals booked on charges of assault and molestation.
The situation remains under investigation as police try to de-escalate tensions between the communities.
