19-Year-Old BBA Student Dies by Suicide After Jumping from 23rd Floor in Malad West
A tragic incident unfolded in Malad West on Tuesday as 19-year-old Riddhi Surekha, a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) student at Potdar College, reportedly died by suicide after jumping from the 23rd floor of her residential building in Mandlik Nagar, located on SV Road.
According to authorities, Riddhi returned from college around 1:15 pm and made her way to the building’s terrace before allegedly taking the fatal jump. Her belongings were found on the 23rd floor.
Police have registered an accidental death report, and while the motive remains unknown, they are continuing investigations to uncover any possible reasons behind the tragedy.
After the post-mortem examination, her body was released to her family. Her father is known to work in the stock market.
